Firefox 3.6.2 Fixes Critical Security Hole

Mozilla addressed a critical security vulnerability with a minor Firefox update, bringing the browser to version 3.6.2. The vulnerability could potentially allow an attacker to “crash a victim’s browser and execute arbitrary code on his/her system.” Users of Firefox 3.6 will have this update automatically downloaded and installed, but you can also manually apply it by selecting “Check for Updates…” from the Help menu. Facebook on the PlayStation 3 is Now Live

For those of you waiting for the Facebook integration on the PS3 to roll out, the new version 3.10 firmware is now available. You’ll have to install the update, then look for the new Facebook Settings under the Account Management section of the PlayStation Network area of the cross-media bar (XMB). Once enabled you’ll be able to toggle your settings for the three areas we described earlier : send updates from trophies, PSN purchases and/or “game events” to be determined by developers.
