Kodak Takes a Stake in TweetPhoto

Twitter Drops “What are You Doing?” Now Asks “What’s Happening?”

Until today Twitter officially prompted you to share the answer to the question, “What are you doing?” — which over time has become only one of the many ways users have chosen to create status updates. To address the diversity of use cases Twitter now sees, the company just changed the official question to, “What’s happening?” On the surface it’s a minor change, and yet it’s significant in reflecting the shifting focus and user behavior of the service over time. As most users know, the official question is largely ignored by those who have found myriad ways to share pretty much anything they wanted, be it information, relationships, entertainment, citizen journalism, and beyond.
