Users of Windows Mobile devices have a new way to browse apps: their web browser. Microsoft has rolled out the Windows Marketplace for Mobile website, where users can browse, purchase, and download applications, which are then delivered to their handset.

Late last month Amazon announced they’d be making a version of the Kindle software for the PC as well as the Mac. The Mac version has yet to ship, but the PC version is now available as a free download in over 100 countries.
