Moreover, the company generated $2.54 billion in free cash flow during the quarter, bringing the company’s total cash on hand to a staggering $22 billion

We’ve been covering the story of a bank’s email screw-up and the highly controversial judge’s ruling that ordered Google to suspend the Gmail account of the innocent recipient of 1,300 bank customers’ personal information. Apparently Rocky Mountain Bank and Google have now reached an agreement to dismiss the case, reports CNet . However, the Gmail user in question will sadly still not have access restored to the account until the court approves the motion to toss out the case.

We’ve been following the persistent rumors of an Apple Tablet for some time now and have written on why we think it’s most certainly coming at some point in the not-too-distant future. Today there’s a small nugget of fuel to add to the Tablet fire, with Apple rehiring former Newton developer Michael Tchao as VP of Product Marketing according to The New York Times . For those unfamiliar, the Apple Newton was the progenitor of the personal digital assistant (PDA) class of devices that outlived the Newton project itself, which was eventually canceled.
